    • ALCOSSEBRE > BEACHES AND NATURAL SURROUNDINGS

    The beaches are the most appreciated thing by the visitors: 4 beautiful natural beaches of fine sand that even in high season never get full. Namely: 'Las Fuentes', El Cargador', 'La Romana', and 'La Tropicana'. Also many small coves.

    Urban development has been restricted. The highest buildings are 4 floors high, and in most areas only 2 o 3 floors are allowed.

    The main road and the highway are more than 5 km. away, so there is no traffic in transit nearby.

    We are surrounded by 3 Natural Parks. North we find the 'Sierra de Irta', Natural Park, and 10 km. South, is the marsh of Prat de Cabanes, also 'Paraje Natural'. And 29 milles into the sea are Columbretes Islands, Natural Park and Marine Reserve.
