Alcalà-Alcossebre renews the five blue flags for its beaches and coastal path

For yet another year, the beaches of Alcossebre Cargador, Romana, Moro and Manyetes have renewed the four blue flags awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) through ADEAC (Association for Environmental and Consumer Education). an international distinctive that recognizes the high quality of the waters, as well as the effort, public and citizen, to comply with the required criteria of legality, accessibility, sanitation, environmental education, cleanliness and quality of the beaches. The beaches of Cargador, Romana, Manyetes and Moro have revalidated the distinction, placing the town, for yet another year, among the most awarded in the province and the most recognized municipality of Baix Maestrat. In addition to these four blue beach flags, there is one on the Coastal Path that connects the Cargador and Romana beaches, recognized for their environmental diversity.
Mayor Francisco Juan has highlighted that "we make a lot of effort to continue accrediting the high quality of the water of our beaches, as well as ensuring its services and infrastructures and more in the current health context. As we always say, we are a privileged municipality with a coastline that Every year, it receives these recognitions for its good management and environmental quality ".
